Richard Bland College New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is designed to ensure that new students have a successful transition and integration into college life and an introduction to campus life at Richard Bland College of William & Mary. All students who are new to Richard Bland College, including transfer students, are strongly encouraged to participate in orientation before classes begin.

For students matriculating fall 2024, new student orientation dates are as follows:

• 2024 Fall Semester – July 10th, July 20th, August 7th, and August 14th

During orientation, students will have the chance to do the following:

• Meet and engage with other incoming students and staff at RBC
• Meet the Learner Mentor Team
• Learn about the campus and the services offered

  • Counseling Services
  • Disability Services (accommodations)
  • Records & Registration
  • Campus Technology
  • Honors Program
  • Campus Engagement (Student activities)

• Taking care of business: Complete any remaining business

• • Financial Aid
  • Business Office
  • Paperwork
  • Housing
  • Student ID
