Richard Bland College of William & Mary Signs Nursing Agreement with Shenandoah University
Richard Bland College and Shenandoah University have signed an Articulation Agreement that gives qualified RBC students the opportunity to seamlessly transfer into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at Shenandoah.
Each year, the partnership will give priority status to eight Richard Bland students to transfer to Shenandoah’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing. The BSN degree leads to a career in the nursing field and provides students with the opportunity to pursue graduate-level work as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwifery, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Doctor of Nursing Practitioner.
“Nursing is a highly competitive field, and Richard Bland College is excited to offer this pathway for its nursing students,” said Provost Maria Dezenberg. “Shenandoah University has an excellent nursing program that will prepare RBC students for many different jobs in the field. The College is proud to build on its existing partnerships with Shenandoah.”
“We are delighted to join Richard Bland College in developing a streamlined pathway for RBC students to join the School of Nursing at Shenandoah University. Nursing is a competitive, high-demand field, and RBC’s outstanding programs will provide excellent preparation for their students” said SU Provost Adrienne Bloss.
