Throughout the next couple of months, we will be working hard to plan a virtual celebration ceremony that you will remember for a lifetime! While we never imagined your ceremony would be virtual, your commencement will still be as special as possible. Please tell all your family and friends that on May 20, 2021 at 6:00 pm that they can join you as we honor you and the unique place you will now take in the history of Richard Bland College of William & Mary.
As you take your place formally as part of the resilient Class of 2021, know that it is our wish is to create a memorable, uplifting moment for you. Graduation Requirements
To qualify for May graduation, students need a 2.00 GPA, earn at least 60 credits, and ensure that all major requirements have been satisfied. Summer candidates must complete all requirements by August 2021 to qualify as a summer graduate and may not exceed more than 12 credits during the summer.
Commencement exercises occur only once per year in May. The ceremony is comprised of the previous fall and current spring graduates and upcoming summer candidates.
Graduation applications are due by:
February 2: spring candidates
November 1: fall candidates
March 18: 2021 graduation application
May 20: 58th Commencement Ceremony
