Congratulations on your acceptance to Richard Bland College of William & Mary and welcome!
Below are your next steps for enrollment and registration. Please complete them as soon as possible.

Complete the Enrollment Intent Form and pay the enrollment deposit

Complete your Enrollment Intent Form using the link sent to you via email and pay your $75.00 enrollment deposit. You can also access the form at this link.
This deposit will be applied to your tuition once you register for classes.
“Note: please contact apply@rbc.edu or 804-862-6249 if you feel you qualify for a tuition deposit waiver.”

Complete your Virginia In-State Tuition (VIT) form

Complete your Virginia In-State Tuition form using the link sent to you via email.
You complete Side A, and your parent or legal guardian should complete Side B.
A confirmation email will be sent upon review of the VIT form and if any further documentation is needed, you will be notified at that time.

Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The best way to receive the most federal, state and institutional financial aid is to submit your FAFSA. We recommend you file the FAFSA as soon as possible and list Richard Bland College (Code 003707) as your colleges to quickly receive your award letter. Questions? Log in to your RBC accounts

The first step to connecting with RBC online is to log in to Banner to locate your email address. You can find directions at https://www.rbc.edu/campus-life/accepted-students-web-checklist/.
Next, register with Statesman Account Management (SAM). Information is found at the link above.
A video walking you through the process is found here.Once you have registered with SAM, you must log in to the following to complete setting up your online accounts:
- Canvas – find information for course assignments
- Statesman Mail – your official RBC email

Submit your housing application and consider a meal plan

Thank you for choosing to live on campus at Richard Bland College of William & Mary! More information about the housing application is found at https://www.rbc.edu/campus-life/residential-living/applying-for-housing/. You will need your RBC username and password. Directions for how to set up your account to access MyHousing Self Service are found here. After the priority deadline, RBC staff will assign housing on a first-come, first-served basis.
All residential students are required to enroll in a meal plan option.
“If you’re interested in applying for a housing waiver for the residence halls, just fill out the Housing Waiver Request form. Be sure to carefully read the instructions so that you can submit a complete and accurate application.”

COMMUTER STUDENTS: Meal plans are also available for commuter students—save time and money by purchasing a meal plan in advance. If you are a commuter wishing to purchase a meal plan, contact the Office of Student Accounts, (804) 862-9802.

- Complete the Academic Interest Survey. Once you have confirmed your acceptance, a Learner Mentor will send you an Academic Interest Survey. A Learner Mentor will then register you for courses based on your preferences and degree requirements.
