Richard Bland College of William & Mary is expecting a 10% increase in the number of incoming freshmen based on projections. More than 600 new students have enrolled for the fall semester. The boost in enrollment includes a record number of honor students, international students and student-athletes.

Richard Bland College students earning a 3.8 grade point average (GPA) and above is up 15% for the 2019 spring semester. That increase placed eighty-four students on the President’s List. An additional 129 students rated Dean’s List status with a 3.25 to 3.79 GPA. All students are required to carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to earn academic distinction.

A record 66 students from Richard Bland College of William & Mary were recently inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for academic achievement, joining 34 previous RBC students in the organization. Students earning a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the academic year are eligible for membership into the Alpha Beta Omicron Chapter of PTK, which specifically honors Richard Bland students.

Richard Bland College of William & Mary is pleased to announce an increase in students achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 and above for the 2018 fall semester. The College saw an overall 15% rise in students achieving a 3.25 GPA for the fall semester as compared to the previous semester. President’s List students rose 26% for the same time period, and Dean’s List students improved by 9%.
