In accordance with Va. Code § 2.2-3708.2, the Richard Bland College (RBC) Committee of the William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet by electronic communication means on Tuesday, August 18 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time to review RBC’s reopening plan. The meeting will be held in accordance with Item 4-0.01.g of the 2020 Appropriation Act, which provides governing boards with the ability to hold meetings electronically without a quorum present while the Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency.

Cameron Foundation Grant Connects RBC Students to Graduation

Richard Bland College of William & Mary celebrated the Class of 2020 with a virtual commencement ceremony that awarded associate degrees to 252 graduates. In addition to remarks from W&M Rector John Littel and RBC President Debbie Sydow, RBC and W&M alumnus Victor Branch delivered the keynote address at the 57th annual commencement.

RBC Keeps Tuition Affordable

The William & Mary Board of Visitors has unanimously voted not to increase tuition rates for in-state students enrolling at Richard Bland College. This is the second straight year that the board has voted not to raise tuition, making RBC’s tuition one of the lowest in Virginia for the 2020-21 academic year.

RBC to Hold Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Commencement 2020 at Richard Bland College of William & Mary will be streamed virtually for graduates on May 13 at 6 pm. Victor K. Branch ’82, Richmond Market President for Bank of America and recipient of the College’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2017, will deliver the keynote address. Alden Di Dio, Vice President of the Student Assembly, will speak on behalf of the Class of 2020.

Richard Bland College Announces Public Hearing on Budget

The Board of Visitors of the College of William & Mary will host a public hearing on the college’s budget and finances, including proposed tuition for continuing and incoming in-state, out-of-state undergraduate students for the 2020-2021 academic year.
