Richard Bland College Announces Honor Society Inductees

Sixteen students from Richard Bland College of William & Mary were recently inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for academic achievement, joining 28 RBC students in the organization. Students earning a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the academic year are eligible for membership into the Alpha Beta Omicron Chapter of PTK, which specifically honors Richard Bland students.

Richard Bland College of William & Mary is pleased to announce a 13% increase in students achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 and above for the 2017 fall semester as compared to last year. Richard Bland College & Virginia Wesleyan University Partner In Logistics Management Program

Richard Bland College of William & Mary has signed a five-year agreement with Virginia Wesleyan University to develop the skills needed to build upon an Associates of Science (A.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.S.) in Business with a Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management. With this agreement, students may satisfy requirements for the degree and/or the certificate with approved courses from the other institution.

Richard Bland College of William & Mary has earned the 2017 Online Learning Consortium’s (OLC) Digital Learning Innovation Faculty-led Team Award for advancing undergraduate student success through the adoption of digital courseware. Richard Bland was one of three institutions and ten faculty-led teams selected in year two of the Online Learning Consortium’s (OLC) DLIAward competition.

This was part of a five-week project, Stream Ecosystem Assessment, headed by Dr. Eric Miller, RBC Assistant Professor of Biology.
