Spring in the Grove
On Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., we invite you to the first annual Spring in the Grove at Richard Bland College of William & Mary. This community event celebrating the greening of the campus’s historic and highly picturesque pecan grove—Virginia’s largest. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free.
Grab your camera, bring your lawn chairs and blankets, pack a picnic lunch, or plan to purchase a delicious treat from one of our participating vendors. Come and enjoy all the fabulous festivities!
Special activities and times are listed below. We look forward to seeing you on April 12 at RBC’s Spring in the Grove.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside Statesman Hall.

11:00 a.m. National Anthem performed by the 392nd Army Band – Battlefield Brass Band from Fort Lee, Virginia
11:15 a.m. Welcome the Easter Bunny and the Statesman Eagle
11:20 a.m. – 2 p.m. Enjoy games, walk the Grove, or have your family photo with the Easter Bunny and Statesman Eagle
12:30 p.m. Egg Hunt (bring your own basket!)
