McIntyre R. Louthan, III

Bio:

Mr. Louthan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. After graduation he served in the US Army for four years as Commander of the 147th Explosive Ordnance Department and as Material Requirements Officer for the U.S. Army Logistics Center at Fort Lee, VA. He transitioned from the Army in 1989 to work for Brenco Inc. in Petersburg, VA as a Metallurgical Engineer. Mr. Louthan continued to work at the company in various roles for 28 years. In 1999 Brenco was purchased by Amsted Industries, Inc. He currently is the Chief Operating Officer for Global Bearing Operations for Amsted Rail.  In this role Mr. Louthan is responsible for bearing operations in Petersburg, VA; Saratov, Russia; Durban, South Africa; Santiago, Chile and Serra, Brazil. He serves on the Board of Directors for Amsted Rail joint ventures in South Africa, Chile, Brazil, and Phillipsburg, NJ.
